Children's Pages - Making Tudor Pomanders - 4K

What you need:

Orange
String
Needle
Cloves

1. Poke one hole on either side of the orange with your needle.
2. Thread the string through the holes and tie it up in a double knot, to make a sort of necklace.
3. Stick the cloves into the orange so it will give off a scent.
4. Decorate.

The Pomander was made by the Tudors. You stick cloves into an orange to make a pattern. The Tudors wore it round there necks. They made it for decoration. When you stick cloves into the orange it gives off a nice scent.
