David’s nightmare

Cautiously David stepped in the half demolished house. He walked nearer and nearer towards the door. Then all of a sudden the grid’s shot close and the door locked. His heart now pounding faster than light. He was shaking uncontrollable with fear. Loud thumping noises were coming from the stairs.

What he thought to be an evil demon with eyes as red as hell, turned out to be a rabbit with eyes that were blood red. He made a deafening noise, exposing his tiny razor sharp teeth. He walked back not daring to take his eyes of the creature.

All of a sudden he tripped over a dead body. It was the remains of his dad. Tear’s filled his eyes. His face turned from scared and emotional to angry. David charged towards the creature with no mercy. As quick as a flash, the creature leapt out of the way knocking him to the cold dusty floor.

Suddenly the creature stood on his two feet and looked at him like a cobra ready to strike. There were loads of dead bodies. Then it leapt. David jumped out of the way dodging the creature, as it vomited in mid-air landing on a dead body, dissolving it down to the bones. A loud creepy laugh came from up the stairs. He couldn’t move. He felt paralysed as he heard the creature run, thumping.

Creeping slowly, a demon with a human body sulked out of the corner. He took his brown hat off, exposing his brain. He wore a red and black jumper which hid the red and wrinkly skin that covered him like a sheet. Slowly he pulled his hand up to his face. Blades glinted out of his gloves as a cheesy smile glared on his face, exposed his blood-stained teeth. David ran with fright towards the door. Using his fist he banged on the door with terror as the demon raised his razor sharp blade.

The Ghost In The Walls....

His heart was pounding as he hoisted himself into the dark grid. The grid bars slid shut with a snap. Terror filled his heart for he knew he was locked in! He heard some faint cackling from down the tunnel and then suddenly he started crawling. His brain seemed to know where it was going because he kept turning corners unexpectedly. He suddenly stopped with a jerk. The cackling became clearer now. He turned his head to the right and he saw some writing in.... BLOOD! It read, ‘Come if you will, but only if you really want to. For I am stronger than you think. For a ghost that is....' Suddenly, with a jerk, he set off again willing his legs to stop, but they wouldn’t....
He finally jerked to a halt. His heart was pounding in his ears. He was shaking from head to toe. He slowly looked up.... and screamed! There was a pearly white ghost who looked like a man. He wore rags and held a sharp knife. Then suddenly everything went black....

David fell backwards. Beads of sweat were appearing on his forehead as the ghost let out a loud hiss. David turned around and suddenly his legs started up again. Feeling slightly better he gained more confidence. Suddenly he heard a shriek behind him. The ghost was coming his way!

David crawled along. Faster, faster, willing his legs to carry on going. Just then, though, they stopped. He felt stuck to the hard ground. His heart was racing. He was shaking all over. The strange thing was though, he couldn’t here any noise, so he turn around and saw them....

A gang of ghosts all wearing rags and carrying knifes led by the first ghost he had seen. They came ever closer. When David thought he was lost forever his legs started up again. A crescendo of angry roars came from behind him. David didn’t make any noise, for he didn’t trust his legs anymore. They just carried on though....

The grid bars came into view. David grew exited, but then remembered he was locked in. Suddenly the grid bars slid sideways and David fell headfirst onto the sofa. The grid bars slid shut and the gang of angry ghosts let out furious roars and disappeared into thin air. David vowed that he would never go in that grid again.
