The Governors also have a number of sub-committees and working groups that meet regularly throughout the year to look in detail at the curriculum, buildings, finance, health and safety, security etc. The minutes of these meetings are approved by the full Governing Body.

Every year a Governor’s Report is issued and this is discussed at the Annual Parents’ Meeting. The Governing Body welcome discussion of school issues with parents and staff. You can contact any Governor via the chair or the Headteacher.

Thinking of being a Governor?

All Governors are volunteers and do not receive any payment for their work. They do play a vital role in the work of the school.

Being a Governor is demanding and challenging but very rewarding.

If you are interested in becoming a Governor please do not hesitate to contact Natalie Marshall through the School address.
