FRIENDS OF BEAVER ROAD (FOBR) is BEAVER ROAD PTA. We meet approximately every six weeks to discuss fundraising and events.

FOBR are looking for new volunteers to attend meetings or just to help out at events.

As you probably know, the PTA helps raise funds for a lot of the “extras” outside of the school’s financial budget, to benefit our children and their environment. As well as raising funds, we contribute to the school’s strong 'community spirit' by organising several family events throughout the year.

We have lots of ideas for the year ahead and appreciate any feedback from parents, carers and children alike.

Please remember that FOBR Committee consists of parents from the school and we are always happy to welcome new members. We meet about once every 6 weeks, a little more if it is a busy period. Being a member of the committee doesn’t mean attending all meetings but contributing to the organisation of events when you are able to. It’s great fun to get involved and the more supporters we have, the better! We now also have a volunteer email group who are called on to help with events so if you’d like to join the committee or get your name on our volunteer list then please get in touch with:

	The Friends of Beaver Road work hard to meet the demand for chocolate goodies at their Easter Extravaganza. The Friends are very active in supporting the School through fundraising and grounds improvement schemes.
