Significant People - Year
3
In Year 3 we are
really enjoying our topic 'Significant People' this half term!
We have been
learning about lots of 'Significant People' - check back soon to see
if you recognise a familiar significant person from Beaver Road!

Forces in Action - Year
6
Year 6 have been studying
forces in action as their new topic for the Spring Term. The
children have created Rockets, looking at aerodynamics to reduce air
resistance, and then creating parachutes to soften the rocket's
landing. Also the WOZZA 9 rocket managed to clear the Four Seasons
Pond, we can only imagine that WOZZA's 1 to 8 were not so fortunate!

Year 4 very much
enjoyed Science Week before the Christmas holiday. We decided that
you didn't have to wear a white coat and look like a 'mad professor'

Settlers
The Autumn term topic
for Year 4 was 'Invaders and Settlers'. During the course of
the topic, children produced some wonderful work using a
variety of mediums which helped to support their learning
journey as the weeks unfolded.

1D had a wonderful day
at Dunham Massey, the children enjoyed dressing as Victorian
servants and making traditional crafts. They finished the
day by catching the poacher in the gardens after following

Goodbye to Mustafa!
Before half-term 6W said
goodbye to one of their most treasured members, Mustafa.
Mustafa has moved to Tanzania in East Africa, and the whole
class wish him all the best of luck in his new home and

Dissolving
Year 6 again
enjoyed another hands on week of Science, this time completing their
own experiments on dissolving. The children organised and planned
their own experiments, resourcing it themselves (thanks guys), and
completed them under strict "fair Testing" guidelines.
