Year 6 made full use of the Four Seasons garden this week, as part of their current science work - materials and properties. The children were asked to investigate the effects rain has on the garden. Where can water escape? Where does it seep through? What are the properties of the materials found in the garden? The children began from their work to understand the scientific vocabulary "Permeable and Impermeable" - well done year 6.
