Learning Day-by-Day

A miscellany of news and children's work...

Dissolving

Year 6 again enjoyed another hands on week of Science, this time completing their own experiments on dissolving. The children organised and planned their own experiments, resourcing it themselves (thanks guys), and completed them under strict "fair Testing" guidelines, making sure that only one factor was changed and that everything else remained the same. Some important results too - dissolving usually happens quicker when heat is involved, not all materials can dissolve and some liquids are unable to dissolve many solids. Well done year 6!
