Visits & Events - Ghyll Head Autumn 2006 - RaftingThe children tested their team skills on the beautiful Lake Windermere. The children had to fasten their canoes together to create a raft and then were set the challenge of reaching and island 3/4 of the way across the lake. With paddles in hands, the children set off. To begin with they just turned in circles. But their team communication improved and they paddled their way to their goal, dodging the ferries on the way.
