Visits & Events - Year 4 Visit to Ordsall Hall

Pupils from year 4 visited Ordsall Hall for a Tudor Day. Here is what some of them thought about it:

What did you learn about in Ordsall Hall?
We learnt about the Tudors.

What did you like learning about most in Ordsall Hall?
I liked learning about the music that the Tudors listened to.

Who took you around Ordsall Hall?
A man and a woman called Mary and Henry, who dressed up as Tudors.

What was your favourite part of your trip at Ordsall Hall?
My favourite part was the gift shop.

What was the favourite fact you learnt at Ordsall Hall?
When they went to stay at other Tudors houses they had to take their beds.

Did you split up into groups to do activities?
We split into two groups. The first group went to the shop and the second group went upstairs and dressed up as Tudors.

What is your favourite part of Ordsall Hall?
My favourite part of Ordsall Hall was playing Tudor games.

What was your favourite room?
My favourite room was the bedroom.

What was your favourite fact?
The kids slept under the bed of the parents.

Trying on Tudor armour and weapons.
