Visits & Events - Year 6 Visit to Stockport Shelters Museum

The children of year 6 turned the clock back to 1939 and the start of the Second World War at their visit to The Stockport Shelters Museum. They learned the importance of being part of the ARP, how to "Make do and Mend" and how to ration their food with tasty "Carrot & Sugar Sandwiches". Also they experienced exactly what the conditions were like down in the public Stockport Shelters..
