Events - Year 3 Visit to the Manchester Museum

Year 3
classes went to the Manchester Museum to visit the Ancient
Egyptian section as part of our History topic. We were lucky
enough to hold some Egyptian artefacts that were at least
3,000 years old. We looked at the mummies in their coffins
and lots of other interesting things such as the
hieroglyphics. They carved these on stone or wrote them on
papyrus, a sort of paper made from a plant. We had a really
great time at the museum. |
