Visits & Events - Dunham Massey

Dunham Massey is a very old country mansion set in beautiful parkland to the south of Manchester.
Dunham Massey is famous for the deer which roam freely.

The Year 1 children (5/6 year olds) took Bravo with them on their recent visit as part of a history project.

The children were finding out what life was like in an Edwardian country house and how the family and servants used to prepare for Christmas.

They met and talked with some of the characters who lived in those days like the cook, gamekeeper, school teacher and poacher. It was one of the coldest days of the year as you can see!
