We provide a daily hot lunch service for all children at school. The two course lunches, which are cooked on site, offer pupils a balanced and nutritious meal with a choice of vegetarian and meat based main courses. Our menus run on a three week cycle and all meals are served in Mr How’s Diner at the first school and The Bistro at the junior school.*
All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are automatically entitled to universal free school meals, but you may opt for a packed lunch if preferred.
Any child is welcome to bring a packed lunch, as long as it is in line with our Packed Lunch Policy which can be found under School Information – Policies. Trolleys for storing packed lunches are provided for each year group at the junior school and stored in the children’s lockers at the first school.
Meals are ordered in advance online at http://www.live-kitchen.co.uk. If you do not have a log in or have forgotten your credentials, please contact the School Office.
The current cost of a school meal is £2.20. Payments can be made by signing up to direct debit on your Live Kitchen account or by card payment at the School Office.
Our current menus can be downloaded below. If your child has special dietary requirements, these can usually be catered for and we ask you to discuss these with the school office and let your child’s class teacher know.
*Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, we are currently unable to cater for hot meals in the dining rooms. At present the children can opt for a cold or hot packed lunch that is delivered to their classrooms. We are also offering Treat Friday as usual, delivered to the classrooms. We are working hard to continually review and expand out offerings in the current climate and look forward to when we can implement out new menus.
